All of this started simply because Phil Bryant did not want an African American Senate District in Hattiesburg. I shiver every time I think about this man being our next Governor. Mississippi has grown so much, I hate to think that the same bigotry is alive and well today! The judges never wanted to deal with an issue that should have been handled by the Legislature anyway! Matt you are absolutely right, almost all Democrats will maintain the current seat, while some Republicans will be defeated, they won't have anyone to blame but Phil Bryant! I hope someone learns a serious lesson behind this.
